My Neglected Blog. Life since Nov. 2012

In class this week, it was pointed out that according to my personality type, my source of threat is "guilt."  How accurate, I thought to myself.  Guilt is abundant when it comes to It's a Goodie, my dear, neglected blog.

Since I last blogged, November of 2012, there have been a variety of changes, fun times and wonderful experiences.  I shall attempt to document them now (in order).

I said goodbye to the bureau.

And hello again to Ohio State for tour de education, master's edition.

I became Auntie Cara to sweet Evan James Kennedy.

Decorated for Christmas at Wyandotte Abbey once again.

Wished I was in DC for President Obama's Inauguration.

Forged my way through the snow by Jeep.

And by foot.

Gave Dreamy an opportunity to get back in the show ring.

Finally finished this little blanket for honorary niece,  Madelaine.

Watched my baby nephew most of spring semester.

Celebrated St. Patty's.

Took a trip to New Orleans with Mom over spring break.

Reviewed thousands of pages of literature for papers.

Went to the Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby.

Volunteered at events with the Junior League.

Ran in the Race for the Cure.

Tried some new recipes (blue cheese pecan bread pictured).

Made strawberry jam with Mom.

Took at walk through the hay field to look for a baby deer I thought I saw.

Spent a few days around Lake Erie.

Learned about shrubs and their deliciousness.

Taught my friend Bettina to can.

Visiting the pool as much as possible.
Hopefully it won't take me as long to blog again!
